Description

The Boprob is a mounted working machine for extracting soil samples in the range of 10 to 30 cm. The sampling is done while driving. Working speed between 4-15km/h, depending on soil conditions. A sampling cycle takes only about 8-10 sec, i.e. at 16 punctures per mixed sample, the sampling of the complete sample including driving time takes about 4 min. The Boprob has a magazine for 16 soil samples. The drive of crank arm, cleaner and bucket elevator is hydraulic. The hydraulic pump is driven by a 5.5 HP Honda engine. The function of the Boprob can be controlled/monitored permanently by the driver via the 7" control panel and optionally by camera. The large tires (235/60 R16) ensure high smoothness and low soil pressure. The sampling during driving significantly reduces fuel consumption and also reduces clutch wear and driver stress to a minimum, as constant clutching is eliminated. The design as a trailer allows immediate use on any suitable towing vehicle without any modification and also quick dismantling when not in use. The sampling depth can be adjusted to 10 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm or 30 cm by exchanging the hydraulic cylinder and sword. Alternatively, the Boprob can also be ordered with a lift axle, which allows the puncture depth to be easily adjusted by raising or lowering the trailer using a control element. By using a special “nematode sample kit”, nematode samples can also be taken up to 10 cm depth and 5 m puncture distance. Important: The puncture must only be triggered during straight driving.
