Description

Overview
The BOPROB III is a tow‑behind soil‑sampling trailer designed for continuous coring in the field while driving. It combines a hydraulic impact-and-rotation mechanism with a 360° rotating crank to extract cores and automatically discharge them into a 16‑sample magazine. Controls are provided via a 7‑inch touchscreen; an optional onboard camera gives visual feedback. Large, low‑pressure 235/60 R16 wheels reduce ground compaction. The unit mounts to tractors, pickups, quads or any vehicle with a standard tow hitch and includes speed‑sensitive protection to prevent sampling outside the allowed towing speed range.

Highlights
  • Hydraulic impact and rotation sampling system
  • 360° rotating crank with automatic sample ejection
  • Continuous sampling while driving — no stopping required
  • 7‑inch touchscreen for setup and monitoring
  • Optional onboard camera for visual inspection
  • Low soil compaction thanks to 235/60 R16 low‑pressure wheels
  • Quick mount to standard hitches — no tractor modification needed
  • Speed‑sensitive protection to avoid misuse

Key Strengths / Applications
  • High‑throughput macronutrient sampling across large fields
  • Integration with precision farming workflows and sampling plans
  • Soil health monitoring and baseline surveys on arable land
  • Shallow horizon sampling (10–30 cm) during transit between plots

How It Works
  • 1. Attach the trailer to a compatible tractor or tow vehicle (standard hitch).
  • 2. Set sampling depth and interval on the 7‑inch touchscreen.
  • 3. Drive at recommended speed (4–15 km/h); the unit cores automatically.
  • 4. Monitor operations via touchscreen and optional camera.
  • 5. When the 16‑sample magazine is full, remove, empty and reload.
