OverviewZIP is a range of mechanical inter-row weeders available in six configurations (1 to 6 modules). Each unit is adjusted to the working width and to the transplanting equipment, providing a tailored solution for different crop layouts.
Models- DRIMAC ZIP.01: Most versatile; weight 350 kg; compact dimensions allow use with low-power tractors (from 30 HP).
- DRIMAC ZIP.02: For farms with varied planting layouts; low weight enables quick interventions.
- DRIMAC ZIP.03: Suited to small–medium farms with mixed crops; 3 modules reduce processing times to approx. 3.5 hours/ha.
- DRIMAC ZIP.04: Four-module frame with movable elements; frame width adjustable up to 3 m.
- DRIMAC ZIP.05: Five modules; recommended for very large cultivated areas; best performance when matched to the transplanter layout.
- DRIMAC ZIP.06: Six independent modules for covering very large surfaces in relatively short times.
How it worksThe ZIP system uses sensors to detect plant position and spacing, triggering a mechanical arm that performs the weeding action along the row.
Components- HOE TOOL: Shaped blade designed for effective soil action.
- SWITCHBOARD: Controls machine start/stop, safety and basic control functions.
- DASHBOARD: Enables machine monitoring and adjustments from the tractor cab.
- HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: Tank and hydraulic components for module movement and operation.
- MODULE LOCKING SYSTEM: Secures modules for safe road transport.
Optional / CustomizationAvailable options to adapt the machine to specific needs:
- Movable elements for frame width adjustment
- Operator panels for electronic adjustment of intervention margins
- Hoes and discs for inter-row finishing
- Weeding element for tractor wheel track
