Overview
MT5 Minimum-Till Ripper from John Deere. MT Series minimum-till rippers are designed to operate at 4–7 mph (6.4–11.2 km/h) behind high-horsepower tractors. They fracture deep compaction to depths up to 16 in (40.6 cm) while minimizing topsoil disturbance. Extended-wear standards provide up to twice the life expectancy compared with previous 2100 ripper models, increasing daily productivity.

Product details
MT5 is engineered to minimize topsoil disturbance while breaking deep compaction to improve field productivity. Multiple ground-engaging component choices and replaceable wear parts reduce maintenance downtime and extend service intervals. The machine supports different tool configurations (shear-bolt trip, cushion trip) and a range of point types including LaserRip options.
