OverviewThe INGAS inerting system by PELLENC PERA OENOPROCESS applies a neutral gas blanket (CO2 or nitrogen) to juice runoff during pressing and transfer, preserving aromatic potential and preventing oxidation. Juice is displaced from the press to the juice tank by optimised pulses, ensuring controlled transfer. The system can be combined with Enoxy+ to further reduce the need for antioxidants.
Protected juices- Blanketed press during pressing
- Blanketed juice flow during transfer from press outlet
- Preservation of colour and aromatic compounds
- Use of non-recycled, food-grade neutral gas to avoid contamination
System benefits- Compact design for easy integration
- Maintains press versatility and normal operation
- No negative impact on press resale value
- Low gas consumption (≈10% of pressing volume)
OperationNeutral gas is injected beneath the Fast Press drainage grids during pressing. Optimised pulsed discharge drives juice to the receiving tank while maintaining a protective blanket.
