Overview
PWL Speed Flow headers are rowless sunflower headers designed to harvest regardless of sowing direction. They are available in multiple working widths and can be fitted with an optional roto-cut rotating cutter and a shredding reel to manage stem residue. Design features reduce seed loss (up to 3%) and permit high operating speeds up to 12 km/h. Hydraulic adjustments and an auxiliary rotor support operation on uneven fields.

• Rowless design: enables harvesting in any direction irrespective of inter-row spacing
• Roto-cut system (optional): rotating cutter mounted on an independent frame; cutters made of wear‑resistant steel with tungsten‑carbide coating; rotor tip speed 25 m/s; hydraulic cutting-height control from the cab
• Reel shredding/crushing: crushing reel positioned behind the shredder to protect tires and accelerate residue decomposition
• Adjustable platform width: manually adjustable crop divider platforms to minimise losses (clearance adjustable)
• Height regulation for variable sunflower heads: retractable hydraulic flap plus rotor under cutter bar bends and pulls heads to platforms for cutting just below heads
• Drive transmission: cast‑iron bevel gear drives and PTO shafts protected by a central friction clutch against sudden jams
• Renowned components: cutting unit uses components from established manufacturers for durability and reliability
• Universality: mountable on most combine harvesters with appropriate mounting frame, hydraulic couplings and gearbox reductions; tilt and frame settings for optimal working angle
• Operator control: cutting height and hydraulic flap adjustable from the cabin; cutting‑height indicator visible on the header
• High operating speed and efficiency: nominal working speed 7–10 km/h, with operating speeds reported up to 12 km/h
