Description

Product overview

Tools for the TERRAL grape hoe weeder frame are non-powered implements designed to assist and guide the weeder chassis and to work or cultivate soil at the vine foot and in the interrow. They enable mechanical weeding and soil maintenance to reduce reliance on phytopharmaceutical products.

How it works

  • The iron wheel stabilises the frame and allows working-height adjustment on hard or stony terrain.
  • The tyre wheel stabilises the frame and adjusts working height in loose, non-abrasive soil.
  • The coulter stabilises the frame and opens the soil before the grape hoe weeder by creating a small furrow and loosening the soil; multiple coulters can be fitted across the frame width.
  • The triangular ploughshare covers a larger surface than a coulter but works less deeply; not suitable for very stony or heavy clay soils.
  • The smooth disc stabilises the frame and cultivates soil; depending on orientation it may split soil without turning it and may not create a full furrow.
  • The serrated disc works like the smooth disc but is better for clay soils because its teeth help soil shed from the tool.
  • Lump breaker discs can guide and stabilise the frame or earth up soil at the vine foot; available with single or dual orientation and additional adjustment settings.

Mounting & compatibility

The tools for TERRAL grape hoe weeder frames mount via a 50 x 50 flange on the frame beam and are intended to be used in combination with grape hoe weeder tools.

Feed rate

Feed rate depends on the selected tool and soil conditions.
