TERRAL weeder blades are vineyard attachments designed for mechanical maintenance and weed control at the vine foot, enabling rapid elimination of weeds without phytopharmaceutical products. They lift and uproot weeds to refresh the plant and can be adapted to a wide range of soils and chassis.

Product overview:

• Function: TERRAL weeder blades with rotating tools are used for mechanical maintenance and weeding of the soil at the vine foot, helping to eradicate weeds that compete with vines for soil resources.
• Use: Used year-round to keep the soil at the vine foot clear of shoots and weeds; highest demand from March to July. Suitable for clay, limestone, sandy or stony soils; not recommended on very hard soils. Typically used in pairs to work two half-rows simultaneously.
• How it works: A trunk-avoidance system (sensor + high-power double-acting cylinder) allows the blade and tools to retract on contact with the trunk and return to working position after passing, enabling soil work without touching the vine. Multiple settings adapt the machine to different vineyard configurations.
• Hitch: Can be mounted on a wide range of chassis or plough frames; usually mounted on a TERRAL frame (front or rear of the tractor). Compatible with other TERRAL vineyard tools (pruner, shredder, soil-working tools).
• Feed rate: Recommended working speed between 2 and 6 km/h (depending on ground type and soil cleanliness at the vine foot).
