Overview
Speed Flow rowless sunflower headers are designed to harvest sunflowers regardless of sowing orientation. Available in multiple working widths from 4.1 m to 10.85 m, the headers can be fitted with an optional roto-cut rotating cutter and a crushing reel to manage stalk residue. Design features minimise seed loss (up to 3%) and enable operating speeds up to 12 km/h in product text (technical table lists 7–10 km/h). An additional rotor under the cutter bar and a hydraulic flap allow working on uneven fields.

Adjustable platform clearance
Platform clearance is manually adjustable between 3.5 and 7 cm to reduce losses on thin-stem varieties by minimising gap under the cutter.

Independence of row orientation
The rowless concept enables harvesting in any direction and adapts to differing inter-row spacings used by farmers or regions, improving operational flexibility.

Roto-cut system
The optional roto-cut unit is mounted on an independent frame with hydraulic height adjustment from the operator cabin. Cutters and bevel gears use wear-resistant steel with tungsten-carbide coating (blade hardness 60 HRC). Cutter rotors reach tip speeds of 25 m/s to shred residue and accelerate decomposition; a crushing reel behind the shredder protects tyres.

Drive transmission
Drive is transmitted via cast-iron bevel gearboxes and PTO shafts to ensure durability and low maintenance. A central friction clutch protects the system against sudden jams and allows higher working speeds.

Harvesting sunflowers of uneven height
The regulation system combines a retractable hydraulic flap and an under-cutter rotor: the flap bends heads forward while the rotor pulls them down so heads rest on the platform and are cut below, ensuring primarily heads enter the combine.

Universality and controls
Speed Flow headers mount on any compatible combine with the selected mounting frame and hydraulic couplings. Tilt and universal-frame adjustments allow setting the optimal working angle. Cutting height and hydraulic flap are controlled from the cabin; a visible cutting-height indicator is fitted on the header.
