Product overview: The IN/IP-SP3PP pressure-sustaining valve is an automatic regulating valve designed to maintain upstream pressure at a predefined minimum value. It is suitable for applications requiring precise upstream pressure control and flow balancing.

Operating principle: The valve is controlled by a 3-way hydraulic pilot (Model SP3PP) that adjusts the diaphragm opening based on upstream pressure. The pilot fills or vents the valve's control chamber to maintain the set minimum upstream pressure, balancing variations in flow or pressure. When the upstream pressure is equal to or below the set pressure, the valve closes fully. If the upstream pressure exceeds the minimum value, the valve opens fully.
