Overview:The IN/IP-GAL modulating float valve is an automatic hydraulic control valve designed to maintain the maximum water level inside a tank. The valve is actuated by a float control pilot that modulates opening and closing according to the water level.
Operating Principle:The valve is controlled by a 2-way modulating float control pilot installed inside the tank at the desired maximum level. When the water level drops, the float descends, opening the valve to fill the tank. Once the water reaches the maximum level, the float returns to the horizontal position and the valve slowly closes to prevent pressure surges in the pipeline. Closing speed is regulated by a pre-set needle valve.
