Description
The IN/IP-SR quick relief valve is an automatic safety valve designed to rapidly discharge overpressure in a hydraulic network to protect the system from pressure surges and overloads.
Operating principle:
The IN/IP-SR valve is installed in bypass to rapidly discharge overpressure to the outside. The 2-way quick relief pilot (Model SR-P) detects pressure increases and opens the valve to release the pressure peak. Once the pressure returns below the set value, the pilot slowly closes the valve to prevent water hammer.
The pilot keeps the valve chamber closed until the upstream pressure exceeds the set value. When the pressure rises above this limit, the valve fully opens to release the excess pressure.
