Linear position sensor V RD5

The R-Series V RD5 is an upgraded industrial position sensor featuring detached electronics for space-saving installation and enhanced flexibility. It is backwards compatible with the RD4 generation and delivers higher performance, maintaining the benefits of the R-Series V platform, including advanced Industry 4.0 diagnostics. The sensing rod supports operation at temperatures up to 120°C, with the electronics capable of being mounted up to 20 meters away, making it suitable for demanding environments. Maintenance is simplified with swappable spare electronics and an M12 panel mount connector option. The RD5 supports multiple output options, including PROFINET, EtherCAT®, EtherNet/IP™, SSI, and Analog, and is designed for industrial applications in harsh environments such as wind mills and metal working plants.
