Description

Product overview
Automatic firefighting nozzle VIPER MATIC designed for professional fire suppression. Automatic flow control nozzle with Rylstatic® dual-fog technology, reinforced rubber bumper and polymer-fiber coating. Available with bumper closure, bumper with handle or handle plus shut-off valve.

Key features
  • Automatic flow nozzle for firefighting operations
  • High-protection rubber bumper with polyamide-fiber reinforced teeth
  • Lightweight polymer-type coating with fiber
  • Options: bumper with closure, bumper with handle, nozzle with handle and shut-off valve

Innovative Rylstatic® System
Integrates the patented Rylstatic® fog pattern with traditional spinning teeth to provide controlled and consistent fog performance. Rylstatic® is a patented TIPSA technology delivering optimized droplet distribution for firefighting use.

Stream Pattern
Stream is adjusted by rotating the bumper to select Full Fog (Protection), Narrow Fog, Straight Stream, or intermediate Pulse mode. A raised lug marks the Narrow Fog position for low-visibility operation. FLUSH mode clears debris to prevent pattern disruption. A pressure eliminator simplifies adjustments across inlet pressure variations.

Ring Markings
Ring markings use highly reflective materials for improved visibility in low light and smoky conditions.

Shut Off Valve
Slide-valve design with dual-driven shaft and front seat enables operation at intermediate flow positions. Includes pressure relief to permit high-pressure operations without unintended valve closure.

Stainless Steel Inlet Screen
Stainless steel screen at the inlet prevents debris ingestion, reducing risk of damage or malfunction during operations.

Pressure and Flow Control
Slide valve provides smooth, consistent flow regulation even when partially closed. A spring-loaded baffle maintains stable pressure across a wide flow range from 40 GPM (150 LPM) to 125 GPM (475 LPM). A pressure eliminator eases flow adjustments at varying inlet pressures.

Lot Number
Each nozzle is marked with a lot number for traceability prior to leaving the factory.

Inlet options
Standard thread options:
  • 1 1⁄2” NST/NH Female
  • 1 1⁄2” NPSH/IPT Female
  • 1 1⁄2” BSP Female / 2” BSP Male
Available on request with couplings: STORZ, BARCELONA UNE 23400, DSP/GUILLEMIN, UNI, NOR, GOST. Swivel inlet option allows continuous rotation while connected.

Foam
Compatible with foam operations when used with inline eductors and low-expansion foam tubes.

Service and maintenance
Minimal maintenance required when flushed with clean water after foam or contaminated-water use. Service kits available.

Certifications and standards
Complies with NFPA 1964, EN15182-1 & EN15182-2 Type 4. Manufactured in an ISO9001 accredited facility. Self-certificate available on request.
