The Hydromodul-C Flow Control Valve is a flow control valve designed for irrigation, waterworks and industrial applications. It offers low pressure loss, solutions against cavitation and an easy-maintenance layout. The valve features a globe-type body engineered for high hydrodynamics and easy access to internal parts.

Key features and design notes:

• high-hydrodynamics globe-type body section, without stagnation pockets (low pressure loss design);
• standard ductile cast iron GS500/GGG50; carbon steel execution on request;
• furnace-cured polyester powder coating at 200°C with minimum guaranteed thickness 250 μm;
• plunger shaft fully guided;
• specific plunger disc profile and seat to reduce cavitation risk;
• plunger shaft guide independent from the seal seat;
• removable optional stainless-steel seat for enhanced cavitation resistance;
• obstacle-free full port;
• no spokes or grid across the closing passage to reduce maintenance and clogging risk;
• optional dissipating cage obturator can be fitted without valve modifications to dissipate higher pressure and stabilize valve opening;
• stainless-steel shaft and return spring;
• return spring located outside the flow path to avoid additional turbulence and clogging;
• stainless-steel bolts fastening cover to main valve body;
• nylon-reinforced Buna-N diaphragm;
• anti-abrasion polyurethane plunger seal disc;
• easy-maintenance design with access to internal parts without removing the valve from the pipeline;
• maintenance-friendly layout: no direct connections between main valve body and control circuit; all pressure/command connections are on the valve cover only;
• pilot circuit maintenance possible while valve remains in service;
• optional drain plug at valve bottom for total drainage in case of frost;
• main function pressure gauge for pilot calibration included; additional gauges available on request;
• valve functions can be changed or expanded by simple pilot-circuit modification.

Standards conformity:

• Flange to flange: UNI-EN 558-1, DIN 3202 series F5.
• Flange drilling: ISO PN10-16; ANSI 150-300 compatibility on request.
• Compliant for use with water intended for human consumption: DM174 / GU166 / DE98/83CE.
