Overview

Hydromodul-C Pressure Support Valve (Tecnidro) is a pilot-operated control valve designed to maintain a minimum upstream pressure in waterworks and irrigation systems. It delivers high hydraulic performance, optional cavitation resistance and simplified maintenance access.

• High hydrodynamic globe-body design without stagnation pockets (low pressure loss)
• Body material: ductile cast iron GS500/GGG50 (carbon steel available on request)
• 200°C furnace polyester powder coating, minimum 250 μm thickness
• Plunger shaft fully guided for stable movement
• Plunger disc and seat shaped to reduce cavitation risk
• Plunger shaft guide independent from the seal seat
• Removable stainless steel seat optional for enhanced cavitation resistance
• Obstacle-free full port for unobstructed flow
• No spokes or grid across the closing passage to reduce clogging and simplify maintenance
• Optional dissipating cage obturator can be fitted without valve modification to stabilize opening under high differential pressure
• Stainless steel shaft and return spring (return spring located outside the flow path)
• Stainless steel bolts fastening cover to main valve body
• Nylon-reinforced Buna-N diaphragm
• Anti-abrasion polyurethane plunger seal disc
• Design allows internal access for maintenance without removing the valve from the pipeline
• Control connections are routed only through the valve cover; no direct connections to the main body
• Pilot circuit maintenance possible while valve remains in service
• Bottom drain plug optional for total drainage in frost conditions
• Main function pressure gauge for pilot calibration included; additional gauges available on request
