Electric heating plate

Product overview
Electrical heating plates (plastic with fibreglass) and hot-water heating plates (polypropylene) designed to be integrated into the floor in place of slats. Intended to create a localised comfort zone to warm piglets in farrowing pens. Plates can be used alone in individual pens or placed under a nest to maintain a stable, homogeneous temperature.

Benefits for piglets
Heating plates are recommended for piglets up to 21 days as they provide a dedicated creep area, keep the heat source away from the sow, reduce the risk of injuries from broken lamps and offer a broader, more even heat surface. Their use contributes to reducing pre-weaning mortality.
