OverviewDesigned for viticulture professionals, the F3X-V25 and F3X-H35 ambidextrous electric tying tools are the 4th generation of equipment combining performance, user ergonomics and durability. The design improves field efficiency while reducing strain during prolonged use.
ModelsF3X-V25: 25 mm hooked opening, suited to fast, close ties commonly used in vineyards.
F3X-H35: 35 mm horizontal opening, for thicker branches, trellis structures, irrigation lines and planters.
Spools and autonomyBoth models use the ALPHA LITE on-board battery, offering up to 13,000 ties per charge.
- 80 m on-board spool: up to 600 ties (F3X-V25) and 480 ties (F3X-H35) — increased freedom of movement in the field.
- 200 m belt spool: up to 1,500 ties (F3X-V25) and 1,200 ties (F3X-H35) — recommended to maximise productivity during long tying sessions.
AvailabilityF3X tying tools available in autumn 2025.
Benefits and key features- Lightweight, balanced electric tying tools — comfortable handling (F3X-V25: 845 g; F3X-H35: 850 g with on-board battery).
- Electronic trigger and comfort grip designed to reduce musculoskeletal strain during long working days.
- On-board spool option for optimum freedom of movement.
Productivity and performance- Tying rate up to 120 ties per minute and up to 13,000 ties per battery charge.
- Optimised spool replacement to maintain a high work rate.
- Up to 1,500 ties with 200 m spool and up to 600 ties with 80 m spool.
Precise tying- Eight twist levels to suit different plantation types, varieties and growth stages.
- Adjustable tightening to protect bark and young branches (1.5 to 12 turns).
- Secure plant support without injury.
Connected featuresConfigure and monitor the tying tools from the PELLENC CONNECT LITE app:
- Set tie parameters
- View performance and tool status
- Receive maintenance warnings
- Simplify fleet management
Types of ties availableFour tie types adapt to crop needs, climate and required lifespan:
- Paper — degradation 6–9 months; retains moisture to promote deterioration and facilitate release by woody growth.
- Climate — degradation 7–10 months; paper envelope with PLA (corn starch); biodegradable and reduces tool dust.
- Standard — degradation 10–12 months depending on weather; 0.44 mm steel wire; average tie strength ≈ 14 kg.
- Stainless steel — minimal degradation; for cordon vines, planters and irrigation lines; 0.44 mm stainless steel wire; average tie strength ≈ 14 kg.
