Overview
BIODRY is Strahl’s series of mobile dryers for cereals, legumes and seeds that require clean, protected drying air. An AISI stainless-steel heat exchanger keeps combustion air separate from drying air to minimise contamination and preserve product organoleptic properties. Indirect combustion with a compact boiler reduces atmospheric emissions and thermal losses, supporting a sustainable, energy-efficient drying process for farms, contractors and quality-sensitive facilities.

Main components

• Loading hopper: receives product and helps separate unwanted elements before drying.
• Loading auger: feeds product into the dryer.
• Central auger: elevates and reintroduces product into the drying zone, enabling continuous circulation.
• Swivel discharge: allows gravity discharge or, on flat surfaces, auger discharge driven by an electric motor.
• Heat exchanger: stainless-steel unit that completely separates combustion air from drying air.
• Fan: draws external air through the preheated furnace and into the drying bell to reduce moisture.
• Ejection cleaner: expulsion-type cleaner for impurity removal.
• Electrical panel (automatic/manual): centralised control of drying processes and machine functions.
• Drive options (PTO / electric / mixed): selectable according to operational needs.
