BIODRY is Strahl’s range of mobile grain dryers designed for cereals, legumes and seeds that require clean, protected drying air. The dryers use indirect-combustion heating: an integrated stainless-steel heat exchanger fully separates combustion air from drying air to minimise contamination risk and preserve the product’s organoleptic properties. A compact, efficient boiler reduces thermal losses and helps contain atmospheric emissions, supporting a more sustainable and cost-effective drying process for farms, contractors and facilities focused on quality and traceability.

Main components

• Loading hopper – Feeds product into the dryer and allows separation of foreign materials.
• Loading auger – Conveys product into the drying chamber.
• Central auger – Transports product upward and reintroduces it into the drying area; assists discharge.
• Swivel discharge – Allows gravity discharge or, on flat ground, auger discharge with electric motor.
• Heat exchanger – Stainless-steel unit keeping combustion air and drying air completely separate.
• Fan – Draws ambient air, channels it through the preheated furnace and into the drying bell to reduce moisture.
• Ejection cleaner – Cleans and removes impurities from the product stream.
• Electrical panel (automatic/manual) – Centralised control for all dryer operations.
• Drive (PTO and/or electric) – Available PTO (gimbal), electric or mixed drives to match operational needs.
