Product overview
BIODRY is Strahl's series of mobile dryers for cereals, legumes and seeds that require clean, protected drying air. The system is suitable for organic supply chains and operations prioritising quality and traceability. A stainless‑steel heat exchanger keeps combustion air separate from the drying air that contacts the product, minimising contamination risk and preserving organoleptic properties. The compact, efficient boiler reduces atmospheric emissions and thermal losses, supporting a more sustainable and cost‑effective drying process for farms, contractors and processing facilities.

  • Loading hopper — allows loading of product and separation of unwanted elements and foreign materials.
  • Central auger — conveys product upwards, reintroducing it into the drying zone and facilitating discharge.
  • Swivel discharge — dried material can be gravity‑discharged or, where no slope is available, via an auger with electric motor.
  • Heat exchanger — maintains complete separation between combustion air and drying air in contact with the product.
  • Fan — draws external air through the preheated furnace and distributes it into the drying bell to reduce moisture.
  • Expulsion cleaner — removes impurities using a drop‑expulsion mechanism.
  • Electrical panel (automatic/manual) — centralized management of all dryer operational processes.
  • Drive (PTO and/or electric) — available with PTO (cardan), electric or mixed drive depending on operational needs.
  • Temperature sensors — measure and monitor product temperature during drying.
