Product overviewBIODRY is Strahl’s series of mobile grain dryers designed for cereals, legumes and seeds that require clean, protected drying air. The series uses an indirect combustion system with a stainless‑steel heat exchanger that keeps combustion air fully separate from drying air to minimise contamination risk. Compact, efficient boiler design and controlled airflow make BIODRY suitable for farms, contractors and facilities focused on quality, traceability and energy efficiency.
Key benefits- Clean drying air: combustion air is isolated from drying air, preventing contact with the product and meeting requirements of organic production chains.
- Energy efficiency: large stainless‑steel heat exchanger increases thermal recovery and reduces fuel consumption at equal capacity.
- Homogeneous product: continuous internal movement promotes uniform drying and improved storage stability.
- Reduced drying time: large exchange surface between hot air and product enables faster drying without compromising quality.
Main components and functions (visualizer)- Loading hopper: for charging the product and separating unwanted elements.
- Central auger: transports product upward and reintroduces it into the drying zone, facilitating discharge.
- Swivel discharge: allows gravity discharge or, on flat ground, auger discharge with electric motor.
- Heat exchanger: fully separates combustion air flow from drying air flow.
- Fan: draws external air through the preheated furnace into the drying bell to reduce moisture.
- Expulsion cleaner: removes impurities by drop‑expulsion mechanism.
- Electrical panel (automatic/manual): centralised management of dryer processes.
- Drive (PTO and/or electric): available as PTO (cardan), electric or mixed drive.
- Temperature sensors: measure and monitor product temperature during drying.
