Short description
Biomass forestry grapple for excavators and large cranes, available in EX25/EX28/EX36/EX40 models with Hardox tines.

Overview
The Powerhand EX forestry grapple is a heavy-duty biomass grapple engineered for installation on excavators (8 to 30 tonnes) or large cranes. The EX Series is optimised for feeding chippers, handling brash during site clearance, log handling and general forestry operations. Mounting options include rigid excavator mounting (direct via a tilt rotator or rigid rotator assembly) and swing link mounting. EX25 uses 30 mm solid Hardox tines; EX28/EX36/EX40 use 50 mm solid Hardox tines for demanding biomass applications.

Grapple Saw setup (optional)
The Powerhand Grapple Saw unit can be fitted to EX Series grapples to add cutting capability. GS saw units require a single hydraulic circuit (flow and return). Bar return, chain tensioning and lubrication are automatic built-in functions to simplify operation.
