OverviewThe GN series timber grapple is a multi‑purpose forestry attachment designed for demanding handling tasks on excavators. Suitable for rigid or swing mounting, it handles single-item pinching and full-load bundling.
Full DescriptionThe GN series forestry timber grapple is engineered for heavy-duty operations and can be rigid-mounted or swing-mounted on excavators. Its innovative three-leg configuration allows precise 'pinch' handling of single items (logs, rocks, sleepers, rails) and efficient bundling of larger loads. Boxed leg construction and double hydraulic cylinders deliver the strength and gripping force required for tough applications. Capacity 0.40 m2; suitable for excavators from 14 to 25 tonnes.
Benefits- Pinch Mode The three-leg geometry enables precise pinching of single objects, improving operator dexterity when handling logs, rocks or sleepers.
- Bundle Mode Leg shape and motion feed material into the grapple for optimal stacking and maximum usable capacity, ensuring securely held bundles.
- Outstanding Strength Compact, heavily reinforced headstock and boxed leg construction provide durability and resistance in harsh working conditions.
