Developed from detailed knowledge of agricultural drying requirements, the TURBODRY series by Strahl comprises direct‑flame grain dryers available in multiple sizes and configurations. Units are engineered for straightforward maintenance and cleaning and can be equipped to match farm operational needs, with PTO, electric or mixed drives and several burner options.

Compact efficiency - Key advantages

• Thermal optimization: Generated heat is directed onto the product to minimize losses and improve process energy efficiency.
• Temperature stability: The drying chamber lined with refractory material stabilizes hot‑air temperature to support complete combustion and energy savings.
• Drying homogeneity: Continuous internal movement of grain, legumes or seeds ensures uniform moisture reduction and better preservation.
• Fast drying: Large heat‑exchange surface between hot air and product enables shorter drying cycles without compromising quality.

• Loading Auger - Feeds product into the dryer bell for initial charging.
• Central Auger - Transports material upward and reintroduces it into the drying zone; assists discharge of dried product.
• Swivel Discharge - Allows gravity discharge or, on flat installations, an electric motor auger provides a controlled flow.
• Burner - Heat source for drying; diesel burners are standard, with methane gas or LPG options available on request.
• Fan - Draws ambient air through the preheated furnace and distributes it into the bell to reduce moisture evenly.
• Expulsion Cleaner - Removes impurities via a drop‑expulsion mechanism, separating unwanted fractions from input or output streams.
• Electrical Panel (automatic/manual) - Centralized control for automatic or manual operation of the dryer.
• Drive (PTO and/or electric) - Mobile units can be supplied with PTO (cardan), electric or mixed drives according to operational needs.
• Sensors - Temperature sensors monitor product temperature during drying cycles.
