DescriptionThe P2V sluice gates are used as cut-off elements for channels, submerged openings and storage tanks. They consist of a monobloc steel shield suitably stiffened, lateral seals in SBR elastomer hollow round bar, frames in standard steel sections, and a driving system with steel double screws hinged to the gate and a double reduction gearbox with handwheel. Sealing can be performed on a smooth-surface scheme or by a wedge system: four sliding bronze wheels on shafts and four wedges bolted to the frame generate a horizontal thrust compressing the sealing surfaces. The sluice gates are available with seals on three sides (P2V3) or on four sides (P2V4). Versions P2V3A and P2V4A have the same technical characteristics but are supplied with an electric actuator. Any version can be supplied as light, medium or heavy series and with rising or non-rising screw. Standard construction is carbon steel; full stainless steel can be supplied on request.
